Gtaw welder — DeWitt County

Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in DeWitt County, Texas. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
