Blocklayer — Whiteside County

Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Whiteside County, Illinois. The job is on a new-build development. The role involves: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
