Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Hand County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Hand County, South Dakota. On a typical shift you will set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience.
