Tile setter wanted in Orkney Islands

Now hiring: we are hiring a tile setter in Orkney Islands, Scotland. The job is on a residential construction site. Your main tasks: • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency Requirements: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
