Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Douglas County, Wisconsin. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 2+ years on the tools preferred.
