Quality assurance assistant wanted in Scioto County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Scioto County, Ohio. What we are looking for: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor The role involves: • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings 6+ years on the tools preferred.
