Building site helper — Southampton

We are recruiting: we are hiring a building site helper in Southampton, England. On the job you will handle: • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Six days a week, one day off.
