Immediate opening: blocklayer (Kano State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Warawa, Kano State. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets The role involves: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
