Vacancy available: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in Greene County, New York. You will work at a busy glazing workshop. What we are looking for: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Able to cut glass accurately to size The role involves work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
