Punch press operator — North Lanarkshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a punch press operator in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Your main tasks: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
