Immediate opening: quality control inspector (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a quality control inspector in North Yorkshire, England. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. On the job you will handle: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches You should have: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems Performance bonus on top of base pay.
