Now hiring: we are hiring a core maker in Jasper County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
