Head butcher — Hadejia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a head butcher in Hadejia, Jigawa State. The role involves sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; season and marinate meat on request; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
