System formwork carpenter wanted in Alameda County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Alameda County, California. Day-to-day duties: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line You should have: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts Part-time with flexible hours.
