Bricklayer wanted in Franklin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Franklin County, Texas. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets The role involves spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
