Vacancy available: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Buncombe County, North Carolina. Requirements: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing On a typical shift you will read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line.
