Machinist wanted in Illela

We are recruiting: we are hiring a machinist in Illela, Sokoto State. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching The role involves: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Performance bonus on top of base pay.
