The role involves: • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter Requirements: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Part-time with flexible hours.
