Vacancy available: we are hiring a moulder in Dyer County, Tennessee. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling On the job you will handle: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
