Steel fixer — Huron County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Huron County, Ohio. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day-to-day duties: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
