You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks The role involves building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb.
