Pressman — Morrill County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pressman in Morrill County, Nebraska. You will give each garment a final press before packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $29 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
