Render and set plasterer — Hale County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Hale County, Alabama. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. On a typical shift you will patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads. You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Full-time with occasional weekends.
