CO2 welder — Saint Bernard Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Saint Bernard Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On the job you will handle: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • ITI in welder trade or equivalent $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
