Vacancy available: fusing press operator (Connecticut)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Northwest Hills Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
