Beldar — Grant County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a beldar in Grant County, Nebraska. The job is on a high-rise construction site. On a typical shift you will fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
