Die-casting operator • Jewell County, Kansas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Jewell County, Kansas. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills 5+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
