Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar worker in Whatcom County, Washington. What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Day-to-day duties: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
