Gang bricklayer • Birnin Kudu, Jigawa State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Birnin Kudu, Jigawa State. You will be based on a commercial construction site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks The role involves: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer ₦85,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
