Nursery worker • Madison County, Ohio

Vacancy available: we are hiring a nursery worker in Madison County, Ohio. You will work on the grounds of a hotel resort. On a typical shift you will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads. What we are looking for: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
