Painter wanted in Alexander County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a painter in Alexander County, North Carolina. You will be based at a property maintenance company. Your main tasks: • Fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Mix and tint paint to match colour swatches What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec 2+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
