Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Overton County, Tennessee. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor You will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes.
