Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Grainger County, Tennessee. You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Day-to-day duties: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers Part-time with flexible hours.
