Vacancy available: we are hiring a core maker in Franklin County, Maine. The role involves fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
