Immediate opening: trainee butcher (England)

Now hiring: we are hiring a trainee butcher in North East Lincolnshire, England. You will work in a supermarket meat department. Requirements: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day On a typical shift you will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; season and marinate meat on request. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. £12 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
