Brickwork mason — Stanislaus County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Stanislaus County, California. You will be based at a residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
