Crane operator wanted in Mills County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane operator in Mills County, Texas. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. The role involves: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
