Brickwork mason — Highland

Now hiring: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Highland, Scotland. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Your main tasks: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Full-time with occasional weekends.
