Surface coating operator — Albany County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Albany County, New York. On a typical shift you will inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes 4+ years on the tools preferred.
