Urgent requirement: foundry labourer (Ondo State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Akoko North East, Ondo State. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. On the job you will handle: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Full-time, day shift.
