Metal caster — Pope County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in Pope County, Minnesota. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
