Join our team: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Monroe County, Kentucky. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. On a typical shift you will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
