Die-casting operator wanted in Snohomish County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Snohomish County, Washington. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day-to-day duties: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
