Gas meter installer — Lamar County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Lamar County, Mississippi. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. The role involves lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. You should have: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
