Great opportunity: we are hiring a press operator in Emmet County, Michigan. You will work at a busy press shop. Day to day you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
