Refrigeration service engineer — Macon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Macon County, Illinois. You will work in an HVAC service company. Day-to-day duties: • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight Requirements: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
