Prep cook — Lyon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a prep cook in Lyon County, Iowa. You will be based at a roadside dhaba. Day-to-day duties: • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in What we are looking for: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
