Join our team: VMC operator (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a VMC operator in Miami County, Kansas. You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Day to day you will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
