Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in Washington County, Indiana. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear On the job you will handle: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Six days a week, one day off.
