Stitching operator • Orange County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stitching operator in Orange County, Virginia. You will work at a busy garment factory. The role involves: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Overtime paid at a premium rate.
